Casas del Sol is a small boutique resort consisting of five tropical luxurious villas.
The villas are perched on a hillside of the island of Koh Tao with stunning sea views. The location is central and convenient yet private and tranquil.
The interior design of the villas is gorgeous: open plan living spaces, decked terraces, pools and chill-out corners. Everything is in place for a perfect relaxing holiday!

I love the large wooden tables and furniture pieces. Simple gorgeous!
Casas del Sol: “A tropical beach villa should celebrate sea, sun and stars as well as shore-side chic. But finding the perfect beach villa in the tropics can be a difficult feat, because the dream of whispering waves and palm-shaded luxury becomes reality in only the most seldom of lucky places.”
Today I got inspired to find these great images by Swedish photographer Pierre Wester and styled by the talented Camila Julner. Decorating for kids is all about letting the imagination run wild to reflect the kid’s personality. There are so many great options to choose from that they sky is the limit. Remember, it needs to be a space they can call their own.
So, do you like these spaces?! Cause they do look a bit to retro to me … still, I love them a lot!
Casa Olivi is an 18th century farm located in Treia in the heart of the Marches. This beautiful Italian region with rolling hills, sea views and olive groves is also called The New Tuscany.
The renovation of the farm took four years. The outside style has been preserved as the building is protected by the Italian Cultural and History Administration, but the inside has been entirely renovated according to a luxurious, high comfortable and minimalist style.
The villa is decorated with design furniture from Vitra, Cassina, Gandia Blasco and Philippe Stark, to name a few.
This luxureous villa can be rented but be warned, all this luxury does not come cheap. The house, which can fit up to 11 people, has five bedrooms. Four are situated in the main house and there is one independent guest house. All bedrooms are en-suite with own bathroom and air conditioning.
Spacious and comfortable, guests can socialise in one of the many different indoor or outdoor communal areas such as the outdoor terrace, the pool area or the living room with a home theatre.
For more detailed information about the house and rental options you can visit Luxury Explorer and Casa in Italia.

This stylish summer house is located on the Greek island Mykonos. It balances on a small hilltop with breathtaking views over the Aegean sea and the magical island of Delos. gives Villa Orpheus a fabulous impression on all who see it for the first time, the place is an oasis of luxury amidst the beautiful landscape.
This villa belongs to Katie and Johnny Friedman who live here with their three children. The couple fell in love with the island years ago and even got married here.
Although the house is only four years old, it is built in a charming traditional style with rounded corners, contrasting with the slightly rougher sand-colored stone tiles on the terrace.
The renovation of the interior is done by South African interior designer Jayne Wunder. She is a good family friend and had previously decorated their home in London.
With three boys under twelve living in the house, practical details were of great importance, but the owners also wanted a modern and timeless look that blends with the distinctive architecture of Mykonos.
Jayne’s signature style is a minimalistic and soothing monochromatic design.
A fifty-century furniture such as Jacobsen’s Swan and Saarinen Tulip are mixed with Jaynes’s own designs.
